Director David Alden followed his award-winning ENO production of Janácek's Jenufa with Lucia di Lammermoor (both productions subsequently revived) and an ecstatically received Peter Grimes. He now returns to Janácek for a new production, Katya Kabanova, conducted by Mark Wigglesworth.
