Leading 4 and 5 star hotel and conference venue group Principal Hayley today announced that its 20th property - the Château Saint Just situated in Belle Eglise just to the north of Paris, is on schedule to open in autumn this year.
Development of the 150-bedroom, 30-meeting room property began in 2007 and will be the first Principal Hayley Hotel and Conference Venue to be opened in Continental Europe. Just 45 km from Paris and 20 minutes from Charles de Gaulle Airport the historic Château, set in 17 hectares of picturesque parkland, is the ideal location for a contemporary conference and hotel facility which combines the latest technology and amenities with stunning surroundings and traditional charm.
In view of the autumn opening, Principal Hayley is delighted to announce that they have appointed Jean Jacques Devert as General Manager for the Château Saint Just.
Jean Jacques has over 25 years in the hospitality business most recently as General Manager of Hôtel Dolce Chantilly, a 200 bedroom hotel and conference centre located in the historic Chantilly region. Prior to Hôtel Dolce Chantilly, Jean Jacques was General Manager of the 100-bedroom Château Hôtel Mont Royal, Chantilly from 1998 to 2003. A graduate of Cornell University, Jean Jacques began his career with Groupe des Hôtels Concorde holding a number of positions between 1982 and 1998 including Operation Manager of the Hôtel Concorde Saint-Lazare, Paris.
