The Big Wheel is Back in York
The Principal Hayley Group is thrilled to
announce the much anticipated opening of the Big Wheel at their
York city centre hotel, the Royal York this week. Standing at 53
metres high the wheel is an impressive structure offering 1000
visitors an hour an unparalleled panorama of the historic city of
York. Situated within the hotel grounds but operating from its own
dedicated entrance, the wheel is already proving popular. General
Manager, Tony Furlong, today commented: “We are delighted to have
the Big Wheel at the Royal York Hotel and look forward to giving
conference delegates, guests, locals and tourists unprecedented
views of the city. Already in the first two days of opening almost
500 people have enjoyed the ride and their feedback has been
overwhelmingly positive.”

Royal York is a step ahead of the competition in terms of
